Bumping to corners and spine ends. Chipping to leather at foot of spine revealing end band, which is partially loose. Lacks spine label. Other wear to exterior includes rubbing and scuffing. Lacks front free end papers and advertisement. Foxing and browning throughout though text remains bright. Defect to paper on the last page of the table of contents and first page of text which does effect the last chapter number on the table of contents and caused a small .75" hole on first page which does effect the title and a few words on the second page. Pictured. Ownership inscription dated 1758 to rear free end paper as well as a name written upside-down in pen three times to margin of last page of text.
