London: Charles Tilt, 1838. Hardcover. Elephant folio. Very good. Full green leather covered boards with girl title to spine and beautiful gilt decoration to both boards and spine. Bumping to corners revealing boards. Chipping to spine ends. Minor rubbing. Bookplate to front pastedown. Crack to front hinge though binding remains tight and secure. A few small spots of green soiling to decorative title page and tissue guard. Minor foxing and browning throughout, though text and illustrations remain bright. Spot of darker brown and chipping to outside edge of about 3/5 of the pages. All tissue guards intact. This is a large book and may require extra shipping charges. I also have a copy of "Finden's Tableaux of the Affections; A Series of Picturesque Illustration of Womanly Virtues." in matching binding. ART/070824
